1301 vs m4. 29. Posted January 13, 2006. M1014 is the resident guru...so with due respect to him, I'll try to answer the question untill he chimes in, as I own both the 11701 and 11707. The Benelli 11701 Limited Edition M4/M1014 has a fixed skeletonized stock (due to the recoil tube NOT machined for the stock to slide closed).

Benelli M4 vs Mossberg 590A1. I've decided I'm buying a shotgun and going to check them out tomorrow. I was originally deciding between a 590A1 18.5" barrel and the 20" and have finally found a store that stocks both. I also have had interest in the Benelli M4. I know the price difference is huge and one is a pump and one is semi auto but i'm ...

Holosun 507C on a Benelli M4. With a hunting shotgun, you don’t necessarily need a go-to-war-grade optic. You still want a quality optic, but you don’t need an RMR to hunt deer. The same goes for birdshot. (Although it’s likely rare to see an upland bird hunter or trap shooter armed with a red dot equipped over/under.)The fundamental difference between Benelli M4 and Beretta 1301 is "short stroke vs long stroke" piston systems. The biggest differences are that the Beretta 1301 is lighter, Benelli M4 has a pistol grip option, and the systems used to cycle the action. Both systems are reliable and will shoot just about any shell you throw at it, though from what I’ve seen the the M4 may struggle ...Fit and finish is excellent on both. I prefer the front sight on the A300 as it's more open than the 1301 which gives you a better sight picture. SonnySwanson • 8 mo. ago. Mar 12, 2018 · The Benelli M4 is physically a better built gun, I have simply never held a better built shotgun than a Benelli M4. With that said the 1301 is a very well built, very well assembled gun and I can't find anyplace that they left anything lose or not centered properly. The M4 has a lot of metal parts that Beretta chose to sub plastic instead. Both are great choice. Long time Benelli lover and owner of 5 M4s (yes i know thats a bit crazy), a M1Super90 and 3 benelli M2 tactical. Decided to pick up the gen2 Beretta 1301 tactical. Before testing fully I wanted to take it apart to see about the robust-ness of the system. Definitely about 85% or bit less as robust as my M4 or M2's ....The M4 is heavier, but it does use more metal parts (sights etc) than the 1301. Some people say the 1301 shoots softer than the M4 but I did not find this to be true. With defensive loads (buck shot, slugs etc), the M4 felt noticeably softer. I did notice the M4 feels like it has a heavier buffer spring compared to the 1301.1301 will be my pick than the M4 would come as next choice. 4 mos. Илья Ковалев. All. 2 yrs. Clarissa R Jack. 4. cornellejones • 2 yr. ago. Durability is a big factor for me personally. The mean rounds between maintenance or replacing parts on the Benelli is insanely long. Though the 1301 is a very capable shotgun and lighter it will have more felt recoil and suffer from longer split times between shots.

Value: 5/5. Compared to the 930 Tactical SPX, which still has an MSRP of $1,228, the 940 Pro Tactical is slightly less with an MSRP of $1,154. (I’ve even seen it in a few places for $999.) This is an interesting move for a gun that is arguably more capable and ergonomic.[#3] I tried both side by side about a month ago. The Beretta 1301 Tactical was outfitted with a Magpul shotgun stock, Magpul Zhukov forend, and side saddle, making it cost about the same as the Benelli option. The Benelli was stock. If you're willing to sink a little money into it, I'd go with the 1301, maybe the m2/m3/m4 series. The M2 just got a facelift in their field lineup, so I would expect one soon in their tactical lineup too.Subs a lot of plastic in - Makes the gun lighter which means you could likely maneuver it faster. Nov 23, 2020 · GaBoy45 · #6 · Nov 25, 2020. I own the M4 and have shot the 1301 tactical. The M4 is a tank of a shotgun. Ultra reliable and not that bad in recoil. The 1301 is light as all get out but recoil is light. Like there is no way a shotgun that light should recoil this light. It was pretty reliable as well. Beretta, Browning = Gas. Benelli, Franchi, Stoeger = Inertia. Benelli's are a sweet rig no doubt. You can beat them to death and they keep going. Franchi and Stoeger are very similar to the M2. Some parts interchange. I’ve shot both pretty extensively, and I’d give the M4 about a 10-15% reduction in recoil that I’d attribute, mostly, to the extra weight (about 1.5 pounds) and the ARGO dual piston system as opposed the the Beretta Blink single piston system. The Benelli M4 comes with a fully adjustable LPA ghost ring rear sight and a white dot front blade inside protective ears for quick target acquisition, and 5.25” Picatinny rail that allows the user to mount additional scopes and optical sights.
